DOROTHY ELIZABETH MCCRAN October 28, 1939 July 14, 2011 Dorothy passed away peacefully on July 14, 2011 at her home. Dorothy was well known in the community with her involvement with the Freight House. She was a unique individual who touched all who knew her. She loved to play bingo and cards. She is survived by her sisters Margaret Davis, Carol (Ed) Hogue, Lillian Mackus, and Shirley Evans; her brother Arnold Murphy, two grandsons Jorden and Jamie, and grand-daughter Natasha (Ryan); also two great-grandsons Dylan and Nathan, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Robert and Margaret Murphy, son Dale Murphy, and husband Sparky, one sister, and one brother, one sister-in-law, and three brothers-in-law, and one great nephew. She will be missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at 1442 Main St. (Cropo Funeral Chapel) with interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Kidney Foundation or the Diabetes Foundation of Manitoba.
